Seems like every time we get a decent amount of snow, I end up with ice inside the rims, which can really mess with your driving. I have the factory 5 spoke 17 inch aluminum rims.
Has anyone else had this problem, find a way to prevent it, other than carrying a long screwdriver to knock it out of there after feeling the wheel shake as if the front end is going to fall off.......

Maybe try CAREFULLY spraying some non-stick cooking spray on the inner surface of the wheel, avoiding overspray on the brake rotors up front. Works well enough to keep stuff from sticking to my metal snow shovel.

yeah, I had thought about something like that, but was afraid it would end up on the brakes somehow, as far as this winter, I dont think there's much I can do other than deal with it, I was thinking maybe once it warms up, pull them off and hit them with some spray on clear coat or something, to try and make a smoother surface that maybe it wouldnt be able to stick to as good......
