Xterra Firma Goes 2.0!

Xterra Firma, one of the longest-running and most in-depth Nissan Xterra sites on the Internet has gone 2.0!

The original version of the site, launched in the summer of 2002 - has remained virtually unchanged for the last seven years. While the design was simple and light, it had begun to show its age. This was especially apparent on the back-end where features, expandability and even scalability were being pushed to the limits.

Coming from a personal Website and becoming a major online destination for Xterra owners has meant a steady growth in content and members over the years. Feature updates and additions also added to the mass.

In order to bring the site up-to-date and make it possible to offer members not only enhanced - but additional features as well as to enrich the overall user experience, it was decided to start over completely from scratch while maintaining the valuable content and contributions of its members. The new site also utilizes the latest technologies to increase speed, stability, introduce anti-spam measures as well as protect user identities.

The new site is familiar in layout, but vastly different underneath. We apologize for the radical change, but feel that once you're comfortable in the new environment - will really appreciate the differences. The site will continue to grow from this point on to include additional features and content, and as always - provide you, the Xterra owner - with a vast wealth of information at your fingertips.
