Nissan Pricing Update: 2011 Pathfinder, Xterra and Frontier

Nissan

Nissan’s hardworking body-on-frame SUVs and trucks continue to strike a powerful chord with U.S. customers, with three of the most popular being the Nissan Pathfinder and Nissan Xterra sport utilities and the Nissan Frontier small pickup: Through August of this year, these vehicles have seen sales surge 22.3 percent, 40.4 percent and 37.8 percent, respectively. And now, with the 2011 versions available, it looks like this tough trio is ready to haul away even more buyers in the new model year.

The Pathfinder celebrates its 25th year on the market with a new Silver Edition model that includes leather-appointed seating, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a premium 10-speaker Bose sound system, heated front seats and the Nissan Intelligent Key system. A range of other models, offering three rows of seating and both V6 and V8 power, as well as two- and four-wheel drive, are available as well, with base MSRPs spanning from $27,840 to $42,600 for the premium Pathfinder LE with all-wheel drive and Nissan’s robust 310-hp V8.

The exciting Xterra adds a new model, too, the Xterra PRO-4X. Designed for serious off-roaders and boasting unique equipment and design, this highly capable SUV joins the Nissan Titan and Frontier in the PRO-4X family. Also featuring a distinctive “multi-flex” interior for added versatility, storage and convenience features, the 2011 Xterra is on sale now at MSRPs ranging from $23,580 for the two-wheel-drive Xterra X to $30,100 for the Xterra PRO-4X with four-wheel-drive and a five-speed automatic transmission.

Drivers who want the capability of a full-size pickup but in a smaller package will again be able to count on the Nissan Frontier. The Frontier’s lineup has been adjusted to better meet customer preferences for 2011, with new content configurations and new model designators. Because the Frontier appeals to an incredibly wide range of buyers, it also sports a wide range of base MSRPs, stretching from just $17,750 for the four-cylinder, two-wheel-drive King Cab model to $31,630 for the premium long-wheelbase Frontier SL Crew Cab with four-wheel drive, a V6 and a five-speed automatic.

“We’re looking forward to a successful year with Pathfinder, Xterra and Frontier,” said John Brancheau, vice president of marketing for the Nissan division in North America. “Every customer need is met in the functionality of the Pathfinder, the iconic appeal of the Xterra, and the great value proposition of the Frontier.”
