Dubai Police Adds Nissan X-terra to Task Force

Arabian Automobiles, Flagship Company of AW Rostamani Group, the exclusive dealer for Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, completed the handover of 109 units of Nissan Xterra to the General Department of Operations at the Dubai police general headquarters.

The handover was attended by Colonel / Anas Al Matrooshi, Deputy Director Transport & Rescue, Lt. Colonel / Nabil Abdulla Al Redha, Director of Police Vehicles Dept., Lt. Colonel / Aqil Al-Janahi, Director of the Mechanical Dept., and from Arabian Automobiles Mr. Ghasan Nasser, National Sales Manager and Mohammed Akel, Brand Manager.

Colonel Al Matrooshi commended the aptness of Nissan X-terra for police operations and emphasised the importance of community partnerships and the valued contribution of the private sector. The X-terra was selected by the Dubai police force after extensive testing to ensure it meets their requirements and standards.

The cars were fitted with special police equipments as the X-terra will be used for street patrolling.

Ghassan Nasser valued this partnership with Dubai Police and said that all 2009 X-terra models feature an advanced 4.0-liter V6 engine, rated at a muscular 291 horsepower, along with Nissan's rugged "F-Alpha" ladder frame platform for adventure-ready performance. The Nissan X-terra has all the rugged and reliable features essential for public service duties, such as functional interior and advanced off-road capabilities. This combination makes the X-terra the perfect companion for police officers during their day to day duties.
